‘The Small Business Tech Summit 2021’ Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. General conditions for participation

The Organizer of this Promotion is Dell Corporation Limited, Dell House, The Boulevard, Cain Road, Bracknell Berks RG12 1LF. The Administrator of this Promotion is Redactive Media Group, 78, Chamber Street, London, E1 8BL, United Kingdom.

a. This Promotion will be governed by these terms and conditions. By means of their registration to enter this Promotion, entrants agree that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

b. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over only excluding employees and immediate relatives of employees of the Organizer and/or the Administrator, their respective parent, subsidiaries or affiliated companies or any other person professionally connected with this Promotion.

c. Participation is permitted irrespective of purchase of a product/service. No purchase necessary.

d. One (1) entry per individual and per email address is permitted.

e. In case of non-compliance with any of these rules or any behavior that is considered defamatory, offensive, or illegal, the Organizer reserves the right to reject the entrant from the Promotion.

f. The Organizer takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

g. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Any potential Winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

2. Promotion details:

a. The Promotion starts on 20th October 2021 at 12pm BST and closes at 1pm GMT on the 17th November 2021.

b. To enter the Promotion, entrants will need to: (1) register for ‘The Small Business Tech Summit 2021’ virtual event; (2) attend a minimum of 2 out of 7 sessions comprising live sessions on 20th October, 2021 and on-demand recordings of the live sessions which will be available to view after each live session up until 17th November, 2021; and (3) complete and submit one (1) of the ‘The Small Business Tech Summit 2021’ surveys issued at the end of the live sessions run on 20th October, 2021, and at the end of the on-demand sessions run on 17th November, 2021 by 1pm GMT on 1st December 2021. Entrants will be asked to provide their feedback on the virtual event and will also be asked to provide their name and email address. The entrant guarantees that all information given is accurate.

3. Selection of Winners and Prizes:

a. There will be one (1) Winner at the end of the Promotion.

b. The Winner will be the entrant who is randomly selected from all the valid entries received within the Promotion start and close date.

c. The Winner will be announced on the Dell UK LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages with the Winner’s first name and first initial of surname no later than 28 days after the closing date of the Promotion. The Winner will also be informed that they have won by the Organizer or Administrator via email, using the email address they have provided.

d. The Winner may be requested to provide further personal data in order for the Organizer to contact them regarding fulfillment of the Prize. In the event the e-mail is returned as undeliverable, or the Winner declines the Prize, the relevant entry will be disqualified and a new Winner will be randomly chosen. The Organizer will fulfill shipment of the Prize, if necessary, and will contact the Winner to arrange an appropriate day and time for the delivery of the Prize within a time period determined by the Organizer.

e. The Winner will receive one (1) Latitude 9420 2-in-1 Laptop.

f. No cash alternative. Prizes are not transferable.

g. The Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses not specified in the Prize description.

4. Your privacy and collection of personal data:

By entering the Promotion, the following data of the entrants will be captured by the Organizer: entrant name and email address.

By entering the Promotion, the entrant grants the Organizer the right to contact them regarding their submission. By participating in the Promotion, entrants hereby agree to the Organizer collecting and using their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted the Organizer’s privacy policy at:

Dell may transfer your personal information to affiliated companies outside the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA) such as Dell Inc. in the United States of America. By entering this Promotion, you will be deemed to: (i) have accepted these Terms and Conditions; (ii) warrant that any information you submit is accurate and relates only to yourself and (iii) if you are a Winner, you agree to participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by Dell including the publication of your name, photograph and a testimonial by you, in various media including on the Internet.

5. Limitations of Liability: Organizer, Dell Inc. and its subsidiaries, Administrator and their agents are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Promotion, provided this is done before the relevant closing date.

6. Governing law:

These Promotion terms and conditions will be governed by English law.
